'Adelaide biscuit-maker Tucker's Natural has made a major breakthrough for the China market with success in a prestigious innovation competition at SIAL China 2016, China's largest food exhibition.
The company's new Fruit Bites product, available in Blueberry and Strawberry varieties, was selected as a finalist in the prestigious innovation awards from hundreds of products around the globe.
Tucker's Natural managing director Sam Tucker said being a finalist will ensure the product and brand is a major feature of the show.
The selection of Tucker's Natural Fruit Bites as a finalist means the range will be featured in the SIAL trade show's showcase, a major attraction for buyers and visitors from across the world.
"This recognition provides a significant promotional platform for the brand in one of the world's largest markets," Mr Tucker said.
"After one day in china, we have already had tremendous interest from buyers keen to stock Fruit Bites in their stores.
"Capturing those orders will result in more jobs for Adelaide employees."
Mr Tucker said the award was recognition of the brand's commitment to developeing innovative, modern products for consumers and the company was excited about being selected as a finalist at Asia's largest trade show.'
